                                  PCW VERSION

I have installed a version of VDE265 to work with PCW cursors. This has
entailed some detective work to find the location of the "Wordstar" cursors and
change them and also necessitated changing the FIND and REPLACE commands.

These changes are exclusively modifications of look-up tables, and the
the program remains as its author and copyright holder Eric Meyer wrote it.

The changes are documented in the two page quick reference VDEOP.DOC. The
user is advised to print this out and consult it in conjunction with the main
manual.

                               ABOUT VDExxx.LBR

VDE is distributed in a packed format which saves disk space and makes
downloading by phone more economical. It also ensures that VDE is circulated
without modification or loss of accessory files.

To extract the individual files, you will need LU.COM, the Library
Utility, or equivalent:
              A>LU -O VDExxx.LBR -E *.*

To unpack the DOCumentation files, you will need UNCR.COM, the
UNCRunching utility:
              A>UNCR *.DZC

There should soon be reliable ARChive utilities for CP/M which will make
this process simpler.
